The Beauty of Genesis (and why Sebastião Salgado is now one of my fave photographers)
Olá! I am currently writing this post from Brazil after submitting my final assignments of my degree. If the giant, eye-like tower in the photo above is unfamiliar to you- it is a famous landmark of Curitiba that belongs to MON (Museu Oscar Niemeyer). Niemeyer was a famous Brazilian architect who is said to have designed…

The Novo Cemetery – expired Polaroid film
Some universities boast a stunning lake, a church, or a library used as Dumbledore’s office. At Queen Mary, University of London, we have a cemetery. It is actually interesting: it is a Grade II listed Jewish cemetery, and the east end of London is famous for its rich Jewish cultural heritage as well as its hipsters…

St Marks Church, Regents Park
Came across this pretty looking Church a couple of days ago when spending a sunny morning exploring Camden and Regents Park with my sister and her boyfriend. Quick google told me it is over 150 years old, and the first Anglican church in London to finish being rebuilt after WW2. ( http://www.stmarksregentspark.org.uk/history/ )

Senate House/Ministry of Truth
An iconic landmark for London students and Fans of George Orwell. Its gigantic library is one of the reasons I chose a University of London college to study at. I have used said facilities twice so far, and I graduate in July. Ah well, such is life. Taken on 11/03/2015 using Nikon D3200

A Few shots of East London
Using *just* expired film (my bad) the colours didn’t develop fully, but to me it gives it a vintage, or even timeless, feel to the photo, which I always find to be a fun quality of using a Polaroid camera. (This one looks better in real life I swear, makes me think I need to find a…

A Wintry Walk
I hope everyone had a lovely and enjoyable Christmas. I know I did, I’ve eaten so much in the past week I struggled with my Christmas dinner. Managed to pull through though and scoffed a mince pie and some Christmas pudding after. I received a lot of lovely gifts: a coat with a tea cup pattern on…
