Lesser Known Gems of London
I love reading travel posts about London, because it is my love and it’s always fun to discover new places. Therefore I find it a bit irritating when people headline with “Places in London you MUST Visit” with all the obvious choices: The London Eye, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace etc. I think most people visiting London…

The Perks of being British
(Or living in Britain). If you think of a British person you may think of a upper class gentleman/lady who drinks afternoon tea, maybe someone who’s a bit of a geezer, or a group of people stood queuing for no particular reason. Truth is we are all these things and so much more. We are quite…

Summer Solstice at Stonehenge
Bigger rock stars than found at Glastonbury… Stonehenge, usually closed off throughout the year, during solstice celebrations allows anyone to flock together among the ancient stones to witness the sunset and the sunrise. Joining in has always been on my bucket list, and although we didn’t stay for the sunrise (if you ever want to…

St Marks Church, Regents Park
Came across this pretty looking Church a couple of days ago when spending a sunny morning exploring Camden and Regents Park with my sister and her boyfriend. Quick google told me it is over 150 years old, and the first Anglican church in London to finish being rebuilt after WW2. ( http://www.stmarksregentspark.org.uk/history/ )

Columbia Road Flower Market

Today I visited Columbia Road Flower Market for the first time in my life. I…

Senate House/Ministry of Truth
An iconic landmark for London students and Fans of George Orwell. Its gigantic library is one of the reasons I chose a University of London college to study at. I have used said facilities twice so far, and I graduate in July. Ah well, such is life. Taken on 11/03/2015 using Nikon D3200

A Few shots of East London
Using *just* expired film (my bad) the colours didn’t develop fully, but to me it gives it a vintage, or even timeless, feel to the photo, which I always find to be a fun quality of using a Polaroid camera. (This one looks better in real life I swear, makes me think I need to find a…

Victoria Park, London
After a stressful Sunday morning of my phone suddenly dying on me and wondering how I could ever live without it, I decided to wander around Victoria Park in London to take photos and to relax. It has been forecast to snow later this week, and although it was biting cold there was something relaxing about…

What to expect from an Intercultural Relationship
I am a British girl, who drinks tea, tuts quietly to herself and complains about the weather. My boyfriend of nearly 2 years is Brazilian who drinks coffee, loves the beach, but to break the stereotype he hates football (shocking). Our relationship spreads between two continents, visiting each other’s hometowns and slowly learning about one another’s…
